1. Philosophy should be regarded as a civilization

There are also two parts of life discussion, one is mental learning and the other is mechanic learning. Knowledge theory can also be divided into two, one is knowledge theory and the other is logic. However, after a little research, we will find that there is no independent system in the classification of modern Chinese academic systems that is completely consistent with the philosophical philosophical ones of the East. Teacher Rongyoulan proposed that the philosophy that the East is cited is slightly similar to the theory that China claims. There are certain departments in the modern Chinese theory that are slightly similar to the cosmic and life theory of Oriental Philosophy. But as Mr. Rong has noticed, some departments of modern theory in China are not suitable for the content of “philosophy” as the Orientals call it, just like the “method of learning” that Chinese predecessors particularly valued. Therefore, Zhang Dainian, the teacher of Zhang, should regard philosophy as a category, rather than referring to Western philosophy. Along with this thought of Mr. Zhang, I think philosophy should be regarded as civilization. In this sense, Oriental philosophy is just a special aspect and an example of philosophy, not a standard of philosophy. Therefore, philosophy should not be a special meaning of Eastern tradition, but a broad concept of inclusiveness of the world’s diverse civilizations. The Oriental Philosophy community has refused to treat Chinese philosophy as philosophy for a long time, but only discussed it as thinking and religion, precisely because they believe that Chinese philosophy does not discuss the problems in Oriental Philosophy. If we take the criteria for discussing the problems in Oriental Philosophy as a standard, we are afraid that modern Chinese fools will be among the ranks of philosophers. This is obviously absurd. Taking the problem of Eastern philosophy as the problem of “philosophy”, and determining whether non-Eastern civilizations can have philosophy is actually a manifestation of the theory in the middle of Eastern civilization.
